Position Description

The Associate Financial Planner position is a key member of our planning team and essential to helping us maintain our renowned detail-oriented, responsive client service.

Our planning teams work directly with households and businesses to design, deliver, and implement comprehensive financial plans. Specifically, this position will be responsible for:

  • Co-managing client relationships and financial plan development.
  • Preparing meeting materials, delivering recommendations, and communicating with clients regarding meeting follow-up items.
  • Organizing, prioritizing, and tracking action items.
  • Proactively responding to client inquiries and requests.
  • Conducting analysis for client-specific situations (e.g., mortgage refinance, employee benefits review, stock option plans, etc.).

This position includes an initial training period and responsibilities designed to introduce them to the unique processes of our firm. These responsibilities may include:

  • Operational tasks, such as money movements and custodian service requests.
  • Gathering information for a client, such as mortgage and insurance quotes.

This position is based in our Athens, Georgia, office.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial planning required (December 2021 graduates will also be considered).
  • CFP® designation or plans to earn CFP® designation in the near future required.
  • Conscientious and detail oriented.
