Position Description


One of our firm’s key differentiators is our detail-oriented, responsive client service. The operations specialist position is essential to maintaining our renowned level of quality client service. This position is suitable for someone who desires to work and develop on the operations side of a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm. Specifically, this position will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with our financial planning teams to implement account consolidation recommendations.
  • Preparing paperwork required for the implementation of new client accounts and account transfers utilizing DocuSign technology.
  • Facilitating the rollover of client retirement plans and annuity accounts by administering conference calls with new and existing clients.
  • Utilizing and managing Orion software to monitor new accounts and new account transfers.
  • Managing and maintaining transactional data imported into Orion from ByAllAccounts.
  • Working closely with our custodians (i.e., Charles Schwab) to open new accounts and facilitate account transfers.
  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of new operational policies and/or operational policy changes, as needed.

Given the steady, quick growth of the firm, there is significant opportunity for candidates to develop a unique career path. Depending on professional interests, career trajectory may include higher level responsibilities involving Compliance Administration, Human Resources, and Accounting.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in business administration, finance, accounting, or financial planning preferred.
  • Previous operations and/or financial services experience preferred.
  • Conscientious and detail-oriented.

  • Preferred location for this position is our Athens, Georgia, office, but candidates who desire to work in our Atlanta or Charleston, South Carolina, offices will also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with education background, professional accomplishments, and overall field experience.
  • Annual bonus dependent on personal performance and firm growth.
