Aysha Ballis, M.S., CFP®

Aysha has held a leadership role at Elwood & Goetz since 2016 and was named a partner of the firm in 2021 and chief compliance officer in 2022. She received her Master’s degree in financial planning from the University of Georgia (UGA) and holds the CFP® Certification.

As partner and managing director, Aysha oversees an ensemble team of financial planners and manages the firm's Charleston office, which she opened in 2018.

While at UGA, Aysha served as one of the site coordinators for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program and as a financial counselor at UGA’s ASPIRE Clinic. Aysha has also volunteered at The Ark, helping to provide financial education to community members and has taught financial literacy seminars to teen parents.

In her free time, Aysha enjoys volunteering for the Golden Retriever Rescue and Distinguished Young Women, a national program aimed at encouraging high school girls to realize their full potential and become leaders in their community. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, a physician at MUSC, and taking her dogs to Sullivan's Island.
