Melanie Robertson

Melanie started with Elwood & Goetz as a financial planning intern at the beginning of 2020. She currently serves as an Associate Financial Planner, assisting in client services and supporting her financial planning team with the comprehensive financial planning process. Melanie is passionate about financial planning and she chose to work with E&G to be able to serve others in a way that is prosocial and client centric.

She graduated with honors (magna cum laude) from The University of Georgia with Bachelor’s degrees in Financial Planning and Consumer Economics.

During her time at UGA, Melanie was an active member in the Student Financial Planning Association and represented UGA in the AFCPE Knowledge Bowl. Melanie also volunteered as a tax preparer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program which provides no-cost tax filing and financial coaching services.

In her free time, Melanie enjoys painting, cooking, and home renovation projects. Every Saturday in the fall, you will find her watching and cheering on her favorite college football team… Go Dawgs!
