Caleb Brown, MBA, CFP®

Caleb, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, provides Elwood & Goetz clients with expertise in human capital planning, small business consulting, and entrepreneurship -- having co-founded two successful companies of his own. He is a founding member of Virtual Solutions for Advisors, co-founder of New Planner Recruiting, and was named a 2012 Influencer by Financial Planning Magazine for his positive impact on the financial planning profession.

Before joining Elwood & Goetz, Caleb was named by his peers as one of the Best Financial Planners in Dallas (D Magazine). He is a graduate of the Texas Tech Personal Financial Planning Program, holds an MBA degree, and spent over five years at a financial planning firm in Texas.

Caleb is a Kolbe Certified™ Consultant and has been featured in multiple publications (e.g., Investment News, Financial Planning Magazine, and Financial Advisor Magazine) regarding his efforts to develop a career path and position into firms the best and brightest financial planning students from across the nation. He is also a regular contributor to industry publications, as he writes articles to support the positive evolution of the financial planning profession and encourages practice management processes that best serve clients.

He is a regularly featured speaker at national financial planning conferences and is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), FPA New Professionals Advisory Council, and a former President of NexGen - a national organization supporting the development of the future leaders of the financial planning profession.

Caleb is currently a basketball coach for the Downtown Ministries 5th & 6th grade girls Falcons team. He is married to Dr. Jenny Brown, who works as a professor at The University of Georgia.
