Jenny joined Elwood & Goetz as an associate financial planner, bringing her expertise and passion for client service to the firm. In her role, she excels in assisting clients and supporting her team through the development of tailored financial plans, meticulous investment monitoring, and continuous, insightful advice. Prior to her tenure at E&G, Jenny honed her skills in business operations and accounting in the property management field.
Jenny is distinguished as a "Double Dawg," having earned both her bachelor's degree in financial planning and her master's degree in behavioral financial planning from the University of Georgia (UGA) in an impressive five-year span. Graduating from one of the nation's most esteemed financial planning programs, she was honored with the Thomas and Frances Cochran Emerging Leadership Award, a testament to her exceptional capabilities and promise in the field.
Demonstrating her leadership and commitment to community service, Jenny served as a team manager in 2023 and a site coordinator in 2024 for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. In this role, she provided invaluable pro bono tax filing services to the Athens community and surrounding areas. Additionally, she contributed as a financial counselor at UGA's ASPIRE Clinic, offering pro bono financial planning advice to those in need. Her involvement in the DHHS Earned Income Tax Credit grant project further showcased her dedication to empowering low-income individuals with crucial financial information.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Jenny is an avid fitness enthusiast and a devoted pet owner to her energetic two-year-old Russian Spaniel, Mooney. She cherishes outdoor activities and treasures time spent with her family at Lake Oconee and in the scenic North Georgia Mountains.
