Jordan joined Elwood & Goetz in 2020 after nine years in the investment and wealth management industry led him to a deeper interest in the financial planning profession. As director, Jordan oversees E&G's investment portfolio management, develops comprehensive financial plans, manages relationships with high net worth clients, and trains other advisors.
Jordan is passionate about making complex financial concepts approachable and easy to grasp and helping people align their finances with their personal values. One of his favorite parts of working with clients is watching them evolve from seeing money as a daunting source of anxiety to feeling empowered to use it as a tool in pursuit of what’s most important to them.
Jordan grew up in Atlanta and then Daytona Beach, Florida. After college, he moved to Jacksonville, Florida, and fell in love with his future wife Courtney on a trip to Kenya. Being married into a diehard Dawg family made it an easy transition relocating back to Athens with their two daughters.
Jordan received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Stetson University, graduating with highest honors (summa cum laude). At Stetson, he participated in the Roland George Investment Program managing a student-led endowment portfolio worth several million dollars.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys having everyday adventures with his wife and girls, trying unusual hole-in-the-wall restaurants, running and cycling, historic architecture, and dabbling in piano.
