Lauren Way joined Elwood & Goetz in 2022, bringing six years of wealth management experience to the firm’s Atlanta office. Before E&G, Lauren served as director of operations and emerging financial advisor for an independent financial planning firm, as well as a planning consultant for a privately-owned investment management company.
As a senior financial planner at Elwood & Goetz, Lauren works with a team of financial advisors to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for individuals and families.
She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University (BBA in Economics, 2017) and the University of Georgia (MS in Financial Planning, 2021).
Lauren grew up just outside of Savannah, Georgia. After the loss of her father, she developed a strong passion for helping people with disabilities and their families. That led to her pursuing a career in financial planning and directed her efforts in volunteerism.
In 2022, Lauren was selected to the Philanthropic Advisor Leadership Institute (PALI), a collaboration between the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta Jewish Foundation, and the United Way of Greater Atlanta. This highly regarded leadership development and networking program provides financial, legal, and accounting professionals with training designed to incorporate charitable planning into their professional practice.
When she's not in the office, Lauren enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.
