Lindsay oversees all operations of the firm, and especially enjoys creating new firm efficiencies utilizing technology advancements. She has extensive experience and expertise in tax-efficient investment/portfolio management as well as in financial planning strategies relating to business owners, women, and university faculty/administrators.
Considering only 23% of Certified Financial Planner™ professionals are women, Lindsay is passionate about mentoring and encouraging young women entering the male-dominated industry, and is extremely proud of the diversified make-up of the Elwood & Goetz team.
Lindsay graduated with Honors from Texas Tech University, completing a degree in Personal Financial Planning (summa cum laude). Lindsay grew up in Wyoming, studied in Texas, lived abroad in Spain, and worked in Miami before settling in Athens, Georgia and founding Elwood & Goetz. Her interests outside of the office include all-things-technology, the art of organization, and historic preservation.
